Michigan Alliance for Families is a statewide resource that supports families of children and young adults with disabilities (birth to age 26). They offer free tools, workshops, and one-on-one guidance to help families understand their rights, navigate special education systems, and access local resources. Their team of trained Parent Mentors—many of whom are parents themselves—provide personalized support and help families become active participants in their child’s education and development.
